I was raised on a 20 Acer farm in Oregon City with German Shepherds and Andalusian horses. I was blessed to get my hands on one of the most beautiful Black Bay colt, he soon became my best friend. I also raised and breed Pocket Beagles for 6 years in my early 20s until I got married in 2011 and moved to the city. I missed the country life that I was raised on. In 2016 we were blessed with a 7-acre farm and soon after we moved in with a family of 5, I started searching for a German shepherd. I somehow stumbled across a blue GSD and then a Liver colored GSD, and I knew I had to have a rare colored one just like my Andalusian horses (They are mainly grey in color). In 2017 I lost my 11-yearold Andalusian Stallion and best friend. I lost a part of my heart and myself when he died, I am still not the same person I was before. He was truly a blessing, an amazing friend and we loved each other unconditionally, only people who have had that connection understand my pain. During my heart ache at some point after my loss, in 2018 I started searching for that rare colored Shepherd that I had come across a few months prior to losing a huge part of my life. I came across Sweet Country Shepherds, on her sales page, I found my first rare colored Shepherd Muneca.
As Muneca got older I knew I wanted to breed the odd colored Shepherds. I started hunting for a liver male and after 8 months of searching I got my second dog Canelo and my 3rd dog Maggie. My first litter came a few months earlier than I had planned I will admit. Muneca came into heat during the horrible Oregon Fires in 2020. We were evacuated from our home will all our animals we ended up staying with family and were safe, but Muneca was penned up with my male and was bred. Life threw lots of stones at me but once she had her first litter of 12 (so not expected by the way) I finally felt my life coming back together and that empty feeling started melting away. So now I am on a new journey to breed the best dogs I can to help others find that missing piece in their life. And to be able to watch them grow!
